This is 1955 lightweight novel by Graham Greene. Yes, it is lightweight novel which Graham Greene called this book as “entertainment”. Loser takes all is made of simple but tuneful language.
This Loser takes all is a story of an English couple, Bertram and Cary who has just gotten married and their ups and downs when trying their luck gambling. They are both stranded in Monte Carlo, the place where the most of the key parts of this Loser takes all played. The ending of this entertainment piece of Graham Greene might surprise you, the reader, as the tone of the story is completely a turn out that hard to be in your list of expectations.
For those who looking for any light reading stuff, this 139 pages novel is what I would like to recommend. I rate it as a good piece, but not the great one.
